Business philosophy

Business is very critical to our existence. Most of us earn our livelihood by interfacing and participating in businesses. So to get a systemic understanding of business is paramount in our understanding of the world. We get educated when we understand the vital things impacting life in the environment like science, mathematics, weather etc....we are taught to in school. But business education is not mandatory like other fundamental subjects. But business and economics impact our lives to a large extent compared to abstract physics and other pure sciences.
So what is a business? Business is an entity which adds value to multiple group of people in the environment. When i say multiple groups it is Management, employees, investors and customers. It is the interchange of value between these four groups and how in turn the needs of these 4 groups are satisfied. Correspondingly a Business has to participate in the financial markets, products services market, human resources market, factor market. Financial and factor markets become the input markets. Funds and inputs are sourced from these markets - invested to create infrastructure to satisfy needs of the society.
To positively serve the product consumers, financial investors, employees and Management is the goal of the business entity. Management orchestrates the value interchange between the primary entities.
